At Vision for Peace and Development Organization (VPDO), we recognize access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene as a fundamental human right. Our WASH Programme aims to enhance the health, well-being, and dignity of communities by providing access to safe water, sanitation facilities, and promoting good hygiene practices
Programme Objectives
Safe Water Access: Increase access to clean water for drinking, cooking, and personal hygiene
Improved Sanitation: Enhance sanitation facilities and practices in communities
Hygiene Promotion: Promote good hygiene practices and reduce water-borne diseases
Community Empowerment: Support communities in developing and managing their own WASH services
Programme Activities Water Infrastructure Development: Construct and rehabilitate water infrastructure, including wells, boreholes, and piped water systems
- Sanitation Facility Construction: Build and promote sanitation facilities, such as latrines and toilets
Hygiene Education: Provide hygiene promotion and education, including handwashing with soap and proper waste disposal
Community Engagement: Mobilize communities to participate in WASH programme design, implementation, and management
Capacity Building: Enhance the capacity of local governments, community leaders, and WASH service providers
